Penthouse Re-Imagined

This penthouse apartment represented a real challenge due to the many pitch changes of the roof space it inhabited. Toni and the team opted for an open-plan living option to allow the clients to optimise the available space through the use of unconventional spatial division. For example, the study and living area were separated by using a suspended wall that doubles as a built-in TV wall. This created an air of ‘open seclusion’ in the study area where the client can work privately if necessary without it feeling enclosed. The mixture of silks, wools and velvets creates a real depth of tone and textures adding to the overall feel of luxury. The finished project is a contemporary yet sophisticated living space that gives all the benefits of living somewhere larger yet is far more manageable for clients who are looking to downsize.
